Who We Are
The ICAN IPA is a network of individuals and agencies committed to streamlining access to services to improve health and wellness. Every child, youth, and adult in need of care deserves to have the highest quality services available to them right when they need it most. With our vast network of referral partners and service providers, we make that happen.
How We Started
When ICAN was founded in 1997, the children and families we worked with faced significant barriers accessing services. As a result, children were unnecessarily being removed from their families and communities and placed in institutional care. ICAN knew that if we could create a system that connected clients to a network of high-quality providers offering intensive, community-based services, we could achieve better outcomes for kids and keep families together.
Why is it Needed?
Partners want their clients to have immediate access to the health and wellness services they need to thrive. We provide a vast network of coordinated care options providers can contract with us to provide directly to their clients.
Providers want to bring their high-quality services to clients in need of support. Individual and agency services join our network to reach more clients, access training, and broaden their impact.
Clients want access to services that build on their strengths, meet their needs, and help them achieve their goals. Through client-directed care, we coordinate and connect clients to individualized support.
